Flagship instructions include the now 100% let offices at Morgan House 30,000 sq.ft. – with the final letting a few months ago to The Round Square. York House, the 25,000 sq.ft. regenerated and extended town centre office has been let to 5 corporate tenants ranging from Italian to Swedish, US and UK organisations with headline rents between £30 and £35 per sq.ft. We’re also delighted to have recently been appointed as lease advisory consultants and letting agents for Riverside House, 24,000 sq.ft. next to The Riverside Station. As you would expect various smaller office lettings have also been taking place in the town centre, Commercial House has been leased by TikkiBoo and the last suite at Dukes House in the High Street has been let to a financial services company.
With 7.8 million tourists a year unsurprisingly the prime retail sector continues to thrive and with a weak £ retail spend is set to continue. We’ve completed the lease renewal of The Eye Academy’s large retail store in Windsor Yards (King Edward Court), agreed the terms of a new letting at 12 Church Street in the cobbled area opposite The Castle, let the very attractive 93 High Street Eton to a home decor business and should shortly be completing the letting of a hair salon in Victoria Street. In addition various lease renewal and rent review negotiations are taking place in the town for clients.
Windsor’s industrial stock is in short supply with further loss likely in Vale Road, due to a proposed residential scheme. We represented the client owner of the various industrial premises at a Planning Appeal just over a year ago. Fortunately we have a single unit of circa 2,800 sq.ft. available at The Fairacres Estate, a freehold of circa 5,500 sq.ft. and a range of units coming to the market very shortly between approximately 4,000 sq.ft. and 14,000 sq.ft.
