Christopher Thomas are pleased to report continued activity throughout their core area with office lettings, sales and acquisitions taking place with confident market regularity.
Elizabeth House Staines, the well presented 14,500 sq.ft. office building owned by clients Circle Property is now almost fully let with occupiers including Citizen watches, Deltion, Channel 3 and a move around of Next G Com freeing up space for a further 4,500 sq.ft letting due to take place shortly. In addition space at Church House is signing up with Balticare taking 1,600 sq.ft. and a further letting of 2,800 sq.ft. due to sign this week. Also we have recently acted as acquisition agents for Airport Coordination Ltd taking 3,800 sq.ft. at Viewpoint Staines – and are due to sign imminently for clients, Churchill Hui Ltd, for similar size space in Sunbury. At the very much smaller end of the scale Personnel Selection have just signed up 600 sq.ft. at 61 London Road Staines and S J Smith Associates for circa 500sq.ft. at 10a Clarence Street Staines.
We have recently been instructed to market the freehold of Wentworth House on The Causeway between Staines and Egham. 3,105 sq.ft plus storage and a good car park, opposite Homebase/Argos nearby to Sainsbury’s.
In Windsor the office market is running out of stock with more enquiries / demand than we have space left – quite concerning – and a similar position in the Ascot Sunningdale A30 markets too. Rents across the board are rising – although they have been comparatively low for quite some time when compared to general market cycles.
